Welcome to the 50th Season of Concerts promoted by HMS and the seventh season in our current venue of John Keble Church, Edgware. Our concerts will be familiar to many music lovers but we know there are many in NW London for whom our existence is a surprise, despite our longevity. We continue to strive to bring to classical music lovers in the area the very best artists with international reputations for your enjoyment.

Hendon Music Society, founded in 1959, is one of the leading concert promoting organisations in North and North-West London and has been engaged in bringing outstanding professional artists to the area for nearly 50 years. We include in every season a mix of instrumentalists and ensembles, though from time to time we also provide opportunities for young artists who are on the threshold of an international career. Our roster of past artists is full of names which will be familiar to most classical music lovers. (Click for link to past artists)

We currently present a series of recitals on Saturdays at 7.45pm at roughly monthly intervals from September to March. Although, as its name suggests, HMS was originally based in Hendon, it gave its concerts for many years in Golders Green but today it promotes its concerts in the splendid setting of John Keble Church which is situated on the borders of Edgware and Mill Hill. Concert tickets may be purchased either individually or as part of a subscription series which offers very substantial discounts. Average ticket prices for subscribers start from about £9 per concert. Concessionary prices are also available and young people in full-time education aged between 8 and 22 are actually admitted FREE thanks to the generous support of the Cavatina Chamber Music Trust
